About Us
Independent Physics is a nonprofit physics organization founded by Manuel Uruena Palomo with the aim of promoting private and individual research in theoretical physics outside traditional academic institutions. It’s main focus is on topics related to theoretical gravitation, with a particular interest in unorthodox topics and high-risk approaches in contrast to mainstream research. Whether driven by observations, such as dark matter and dark energy, or by inconsistencies in existing theories, such as Mach’s principle or the gravitational constant, its purpose is to extend our understanding of gravity. Other research areas in theoretical and the foundations of physics are also welcomed.
- Almost all theoretical breakthroughs in physics have been pushed forward by skeptic individuals, not by the euphoria of the many.
Independent Physics attempts to connect individual authors with shared research interests, while funding and promoting independent projects, and helping researchers achieve their own vision of progress. It supports freedom of research, non-paid publishing, and free access to research articles. A secondary purpose is to engage the general public with out of the ordinary topics and riddles in theoretical physics.

- In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual.
We also strongly support open and free access to research articles, including the ViXra and Sci-Hub projects. We also support Dennis Braun’s website DerPrimer.
Collaborators in original research from Independent Physics: Manuel Uruena Palomo, Juan David Santander, and Fernando Perez Lara. Collaborators in blog posts: Manuel Uruena Palomo, Dennis Braun, Marcelo Villarreal Fasanelli, and Henry Lindner. Collaborators in the PAMO conference are dialectphilosophy.
